| Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino is an Asian-themed boutique hotel casino located at 300 West Sahara Avenue, near the Las Vegas Strip. The resort had a soft opening on November 19, 2016. An official grand opening is scheduled for December 3, 2016. The hotel is expected to employ more than 800 people. It was the first new hotel-casino to open in Las Vegas since The Cosmopolitan in 2010.

| Las Vegas' First Pro Sports Team Unveiled |
| The Vegas Golden Knights is Las Vegas' first major professional sports team. Golden Knights owner Bill Foley made the announcement on November 22nd, outside the recently constructed T-Mobile Arena, the team's new home, located just off the Las Vegas Strip. The team has already sold more than 14,000 season tickets and most of the luxury seats inside the 17,500-seat T-Mobile Arena for next season.
